AIR-CELL Insulbreak™ is the latest in insulation innovation delivering a 2-in-1 insulation and vapour barrier solution in a single application, reflecting up to 97% of radiant heat.

Insulbreak™ is manufactured with a patented cross-linked closed-cell foam structure sandwiched by 99.3% pure aluminum foil. The high-purity foil reflects up to 97% of radiant heat while the foam centre provides conductional resistance (thermal break) to thermal bridging, particularly in steel-framed buildings.

As a fibre-free and non-allergenic insulation, Insulbreak™ provides a clean and safe alternative to conventional fibre-based bulk insulation.

What is a 'thermal bridge'?

A 'thermal bridge' is building elements that act as a pathway for the conduction of heat. For example, steel wall frames and roof trusses can act as thermal bridges. Thermal bridging can significantly reduce the overall energy efficiency of a building, leading to greater cooling loads and higher energy costs.

A 'thermal break' is a conduction barrier that slows the transfer of heat across thermal bridges.
